Enzymologic, mechanistic and pharmacological study of specific inhibitors of serine proteases implicated in hemostasis disorders

Project: PHD

Project Details

Description

This project aims to evaluate specific inhibitors of coagulation factors (serine proteases) implicated in hemostasis disorders using three main appproaches:
- Enzymology: efficacity and selectivity on serine proteases
- Inhibition mechanisms: kinetics and characterisation of enzyme-inhibitor complexes (LC-MS)
- Pharmacology: anticoagulant activity (CAT), antiplatelet activity (aggregometry), antithrombotic activity (rat thrombosis models)
