Elaboration of polymer/carbon nanotubes on metallic substrates

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

The aim of the project is the deposition of an adherent composite film (polyacrylonitrile/carbon nanotubes) on a stainless steel surface. The quality of this deposit (adhesion) strongly depends on the intermediate stage carried out on the surface. This one consists with manufacture a self-assembled monolayer (SAM) of alkyl silane functionalized of the type NC-(CH2)x-Si(OMe)3 and NC-(CH2)x-Si(Cl)3.
