Elaboration and study of physical-chemical properties of super-hydrophobic layers

Project: PHD

Project Details

Description

The aim of this thesis is to synthetize super-hydrophobic films with pulsed magnetron discharge. We study synthesis conditions, chemical and morphological characterization of films. We analyse the influence of modulation parameters of discharge on the nature and concentration of active species in plasma. Moreover, the chemistry of plasma is studied in order to determine plasma polymerization mecanism and growth of layers. We study also optical properties of films.
