Data Mediation for Web services

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

While composition provides end-users with value-added functionalities, the engagement of several independent Web services into a unique business process raises several heterogeneities. At the semantic level particularly, data exchange between Web services is hampered by different data representations. Also, semantic descriptions currently ignore the semantic context of Web services, that depends on the geographical, spatial, and cultural environment of Web services.
