Description
Financed by the European Commission, the aim of this project is to engage a comparative study of legal, self-regulatory, co-regulatory and technical arrangements that seek to support privacy and trust in electronic communications in a number of advanced countries: the United States, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and India. The report seeks to identify the lessons that European policymakers might draw from the particular mechanisms in place in each country
