Biosynthesis, transport and post-translational modifications of Hyal-2

Project: PHD

Project Details

Description

Hyal-2 is a recently discovered hyaluronidase, responsible for the specific hydrolysis of hyaluronic acid. Our goal is to study the biosynthesis, maturation and transport of the precursor peptide of Hyal-2 and, thereby, to contribute to the understanding of the role of this enzyme in various physiological processes.
