Introduction

Modeste Dayé is a Ph.D candidate in economics and a teaching assistant at the Centre of Research in the Economics of Development (CRED) and the Development Finance and Public Policies institute (DeFiPP), department of economics. Modeste's primary research field is development economics with a focus on financial inclusion, intra-households resource allocation and behavioral biases.  He is currently working on an impact evaluation of nudging access to formal deposit and mobile money accounts.

Prior to joining the CRED and the DeFiPP, Modeste got an advanced master in international and development economics from the university of Namur and a master of research (MRes) in economics from the Toulouse School of Economics (TSE), France.
