Introduction

Maxime ANDRÉ is a PhD student at the Faculty of Computer Science of the University of Namur (Belgium). He is a member of the NaDI institute and particularly of the PReCISE research center. Maxime was also a visiting researcher between 2024 and 2025 at the Università della Svizzera italiana (Switzerland) in the REVEAL research group. His research areas are software evolution, software visualization, empirical software engineering, databases, and microservices. He has also worked on user interface interactions, in particular with gesture recognition.

Between 2020 and 2022, he was the chairman of the Junior Entreprise Computer Science Labs (Belgium) before serving as an advisor to the board. At the University of Namur (Belgium), he also participated in various representative roles at the university and faculty levels such as a member of the faculty students meetings, the faculty council, the faculty teaching commission, the faculty research commission, the university scientific council, and as co-chair of the alumni association. Outside, he is a member of the AEQES self-evaluation committee for the "Application Development" study program at the Haute-École Libre Mosane of Liège (Belgium).

At the University of Namur (Belgium), he was the teaching assistant of courses INFOM114 - Software Engineering (2022-2023 & 2023-2024) and INFOM435 - Advanced Interaction Methods (2023-2024). He also served as a lecturer for courses INFOB135 and IHDCB234 - Databases Part I (2025-2026).
