Introduction

The aim of my PhD at the University of Namur in the LARN department, is to understand through simulations and experimentation the mechanism at stakes when doing magnetron plasma assisted PECVD (Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition) to deposit thin films of amorphous diamond-like carbon. For a number of years these technologically attractive properties have drawn tremendous interest towards these coatings. They are widely used to modify surfaces of materials and improve their tribological properties.

Diplomas

After a Bachelor in Fundamental Physics at the Paris 7 University (Diderot), I did a Master in Astrophysics with specialization in dynamics of gravitational systems at The Paris-Meudon Observatory.
