Personal profile

Introduction

Since my master thesis in 2011 I have studied the metallogeny of economic manganese (Mn) oxyhydroxides deposits. These deposits have a strong link to supergene weathering (rocks weathered by meteoric waters) and tend to highly concentrate some metals. In August 2019, I have completed a Ph.D in applied geology in order to highlight some correlations between these supergene deposits and the geodynamic of Europe (continental exhumation in geological times).

I'm currently associated with a post-doctoral fellowship to the BRGM-Total project "Source to Sink". The purpose of this research is to find datable material in ancient Mn mines around the Central Massif in France.
